Staten Island Ballroom Dancers in The News.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Featured this week are photos from local happenings, including events hosted by the Staten Island Ballroom Dancers, Employee of the Month ceremonies at Richmond University Medical Center, and the Uncle Chase Foundation Trunk or Treat event in Mariners Harbor.

The Ballroom Dancers held three events recently, all at the Crystal Room in South Beach, after a 15-month hiatus due to the pandemic. The June event was hosted by board members Jack Strandfeldt (president), Charlie Stoffers (vice president), Norbert Phillipps (treasurer) and Marilyn Laraia (recording secretary).

The August summer social was hosted by Rudy and Luz Hernandez and Rene and Edna Besabe. Finally, the October dinner-dance was hosted by Vincent and Pattiann Ferrara and Richard and Maryann Mazza.​
